As a multi-disabled kid, I found my refuge in stories. They were my guide to navigating a world that often felt alien and hostile. That’s why I became a storyteller. I build shelters with words so others won't be lost.

The most powerful stories are the ones that change how we see the world. They challenge our perceptions and illuminate hidden truths.

If stories can be shelters, then they can also be the workshops where we forge the tools for liberation.

My work lives in that transitional space, exploring how the very experience of navigating a hostile world, of constantly reading its hidden dangers and unspoken rules, cultivates a unique and powerful form of insight.

I write about characters who learn to use this hard-won knowledge first for their own solitary survival, and then take those lessons and begin the arduous, collective task of dismantling the barriers that hurt everyone.

The refuge I found in stories was a temporary harbor from the storm of life. It was there I found myself and learned empowerment.

I want to share that experience with others.

My own life has been a constant test of systems and how they can provide safety and agency or how they can be toxic. I've been the canary in the coal mine for countless workplaces and institutions.

Now, I use that hard-won knowledge. I share these stories as both warnings and maps.

I help organizations identify and dismantle the barriers that hurt everyone, turning hazardous environments into places where every person can find a place and be empowered.
